ABOUT
Jen Rennert
I’m a Vancouver-based executive coach who helps clients everywhere achieve their potential.
In my role as a “thought partner”, I work with leaders, entrepreneurs, and people at a career crossroads to brainstorm a path towards the life and career they want. It’s human not to be able to see outside the box you’ve placed yourself in – I love witnessing the moment when a client’s perspective shifts and they start to see possibility, get unstuck, and move forward.
I work with people who feel stuck in jobs that don’t satisfy them or make them happy, who know they are capable of something more but aren’t sure what that is, and who are ready to make the changes necessary to live up to their full potential.
As a certified professional coach my training includes:
- BA in Leadership, Trinity Western University, British Columbia
- Certified Professional Coach (CPC), College of Executive Coaching
- EQ-i Certification, College of Executive Coaching

I love witnessing the moment when a client’s perspective shifts and they start to see possibility, get unstuck, and move forward.
My APPROACH
Strengths-centred:
I help you to identify and activate the skills and habits that have worked for you in the past, and understand the unique value that you bring to any situation – in addition to teaching you the new skills and habits that will help move you towards your dreams and goals.
Goal-oriented:
We begin our work together by identifying the issues that are most important to you, setting short and long-term goals, and creating a step-by-step plan to achieve them. It’s important that the goals we set, and our way of achieving them, align with your values.
Accountable:
Each time we meet, we’ll actively work on making progress – and when you leave you’ll take “homework” with you that will help you with your next step. By holding you accountable in each session we gradually identify and discard the old habits and limiting beliefs that don’t serve you, to eliminate the obstacles that have held you back. My feedback is honest, empathetic, and designed to support you in moving forward.
Focused:
I believe that focus and intention are key to achieving goals, along with hard work and the willingness to grow and change. To make change, we have to change how we see things – new perspectives lead to different emotional responses, which lead to new behaviours. Ultimately, the answers you seek are within you, and it’s my job to help you uncover and use them to create a better life and career.
